Unfold your own myth

In 1992, as soon as I finished my studies in economics, I decided to leave my beloved hometown Verona and to try my first experience abroad. Frankly, I didn't know the world... not to mention Hungary!
I was given the opportunity through other family friends to do a one-year internship in an English consulting company based in Budapest.
In the following years I was able to test my skills in many fields (consultancy, fashion, real estate, energy, industry, commerce...) some times with commendable results, other times less so, but I don't regret any of the companies made or closed, because each and every one of them added a piece to my life and led me to meet wonderful people. Because of my young age I had no fear of trying myself out. Nothing to lose and a lot to gain!
28 years have passed since my arrival in Budapest, I have successfully built my consulting company to assist foreign investors. I can say that the greatest value of my presence is to be able to understand these cultural differences that often create points of encounter and confrontation
28 years have passed since my arrival and, even today, I firmly believe in the ethical and moral values that guided my choices every day, where money is not the end but the means, a result of a good job done with passion and love. I encountered many challenges and difficulties, but my daily training on the field helped me not to fear them.
Community building is also one of the core values at my company and we put substantial effort into it. With the ambition of building an open and friendly business community, we first organised the Budapest Business Party (http://www.budapestbusinessparty.com/) in 2012. This annual event has attracted considerable attention, as we experienced high attendance over the years. Budapest Business Party (BBP) is a game-based event for business networking that we launched during the economic crisis, at a time when entrepreneurs from different fields felt pessimistic and overwhelmed with economic burdens and fear. Our aim was to facilitate positive developments and proactive actions in times of economic distress.
This mindset has given way to our most recently launched project in 2020, the Atlas World as well. This project has been created to provide a medium for those who also believe in the ESC (Ethics, Sustainability, Creativity) approach. Joining this community can act as a catalyst and as an intermediary step to entrepreneurial success, as you will have the opportunity to meet other entrepreneurs and managers who share similar interests and ideas. We have also hosted our first ceremony for the Atlas Award last year at the Budapest Business Party which intended to give recognition to Hungary-based leaders and entrepreneurs whose commitment to the ESC approach is outstanding.
Today, more than ever, our worst enemy is fear. A fear generated by the unknown, amplified by the current world events and media, spreaded by word of mouth. Fear is the mind-killer, and without a clear mind we are not able to make the best decisions. We hesitate. We miss opportunities. Our attention is disturbed and shifted from what really matters...
This is why, within the Atlas World project, in 2020, we also decided to launch our new medicine against fear. A small contribution to the business society.
"Fear is the Mind-killer” is a storytelling website, aimed to inspire entrepreneurs to share their positive experiences in times of the coronavirus pandemic to overcome fear.
We wish you a healthy reading and we look forward to learning from your experiences.
